Gap assessment
An agreed comparison of existing arrangements against the relevant requirements.
ISO 9001 consultancy
Practical help organising your quality management system around delivery, responsibilities and improvement.
WHO IT’S FOR
Organisations starting a quality management system, improving an existing one or preparing for an independent assessment.
THE THINKING BEHIND THE WORK
A folder of policies is not the same as a working system. We help you connect process ownership, customer requirements, operational evidence and improvement actions so the system reflects your organisation.
THE BUILDING BLOCKS
We turn these into a defined scope for your project. No vague “everything included” promises.
An agreed comparison of existing arrangements against the relevant requirements.
Usable descriptions, responsibilities and records proportionate to your operation.
Help bringing context, priorities and improvement work into practical planning.
Support defining meaningful measures and organising management-review inputs.
A structured approach to understanding issues, assigning actions and checking completion.
A clear set of preparation actions before any independent certification assessment.
HOW WE GET THERE
Agree scope, applicable edition and existing arrangements.
Identify gaps, owners and sensible actions.
Support the agreed changes and gather operational evidence.
Check progress and prepare for the next agreed assessment.
Consultancy and internal review are separate from independent certification. No certification outcome is guaranteed. Engagements are subject to independence and conflict checks. Edition and transition planning must reflect current published requirements and the relevant certification-body arrangements.
A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
There’s room to ask more when we discuss your project.
No. FOW provides consultancy and preparation support. Any certification decision belongs to an independent certification body.
We confirm the applicable published requirements and any transition arrangements before scoping the work. ISO announced ISO 9001:2026 on 16 September 2026; organisations with existing certificates should consult their certification body about transition.
Yes. We review what is useful and improve it where needed instead of automatically replacing the whole system.
